RestXl support

We usually answer within one business day.

Write to support@givemebanana.com with the subject “RestXl”. Please include your Excel version (File → Account), what you did and the exact error text or a screenshot. Never send us your iiko or DocsInBox passwords.

Install

• From Microsoft Marketplace: Excel → Home → Add-ins → search “RestXl” → Add.
• From a file: download the RestXl manifest, then Excel → Home → Add-ins → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in → choose the file. Step-by-step guide in Russian: how to install.
• After installing, press RestXl on the Home tab to open the panel.

Sign in

• iiko: your server address (for example, company.iiko.it), login and password of an iiko user with API access. Every open session uses an iiko API licence; RestXl signs out after 4 minutes of inactivity.
• DocsInBox: the same email (or phone) and password as on dxbx.ru. The password is sent only to dxbx.ru; DocsInBox keeps you signed in for 30 days.

Common questions

DocsInBox doesn't stay signed in on Mac. Excel for Mac uses Safari, which blocks third-party cookies that DocsInBox needs. Use Excel for Windows or Excel on the web in Chrome or Edge.

The PivotTable opened as a new workbook. Excel on the web doesn't allow add-ins to insert PivotTables and slicers into an open workbook, so RestXl opens them as a separate workbook. Excel for Windows and Mac insert them into the current workbook.

Where are my order files? In the app folder you chose in RestXl → Settings: “Шаблоны” and “Заказы / week”. Where Excel can't access folders (Excel on the web, Mac), files are downloaded to your Downloads folder.
